Problem:
OLG had updated its website with all-new online casino games. They also launched an OLG app earlier this year whereby users could play casino games on the go. However these product innovations were not translating into increased traffic on the website or new sign-ups on the app.
Solution:
We created a targeted social campaign (facebook, instagram, snapchat and youtube) that spoke to Ontarians who were stuck at home and bored during the pandemic. Research showed us that the 25-40 year old age group was a key emerging audience. So, we crafted the design and messaging of this campaign to cater to this TG. 3 months after the release of the campaign, the number of sign-ups on the OLG app had grown by 6%. We also noticed a 14% increase in traffic on the website. These numbers continue to grow daily.
