Revitalizing Trust: Walmart Health Centers in Chicago
Challenge:
Amidst the civil unrest of 2020 in Chicago, Walmart Health faced the unfortunate necessity of closing its stores in the Auburn Gresham and Humboldt Park neighborhoods. This led to a loss of trust and goodwill among customers in these communities.
Solution:
In a bid to rekindle trust, Walmart not only reopened its stores but also introduced innovative Walmart Health centers within them. This initiative aimed to demonstrate Walmart's commitment to community well-being by offering accessible healthcare solutions at affordable prices. The task entrusted to the agency was to convey this message in a warm, neighborly manner while developing a new design system for the campaign.
Role: Creative Direction, and Art Direction, striving to imbue the campaign with empathy and resonance.
Agency: Saatchi Wellness NY and Publicis Toronto,
Team: Bryan Williams, Joseph Tremblay, Lokesh Mohan, and Selvan Ross.
The introduction of Walmart Health centers within the heart of these communities signifies a transformative step towards holistic care and community engagement. Through a blend of compassionate messaging and thoughtful design, the campaign aims to foster a sense of belonging and trust, reaffirming Walmart's dedication to the well-being of all its customers.
Phase 1
While the stores were being renovated, we created communication to pique customers' curiosity in these neighborhoods.
Phase 2
After the stores reopened, we dropped a campaign that launched the Walmart Health Centers and brought alive the promise of affordable healthcare for all. This campaign comprised of in-store, digital and outdoor ads.
